On Monday, the United States Supreme Court refused to hear the Commonwealth’s appeal seeking to uphold its constitutional bans on gay marriages. The result: homosexual couples can now legally marry in the state of Virginia.
Same-sex couples have already started flocking to courthouses around the state to obtain their marriage licenses.
