Jennifer Bradley and Christopher Pascal attended a Continuing Legal Education seminar yesterday sponsored by the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, the Fairfax Bar Association, and the Northern Virginia Black Attorneys Association.
Speakers included Chief Justice Donald W. Lemons, Court of Appeals Judge Rossie D. Alston, Jr., Fairfax Circuit Court Judge Lorraine Nordlund, and the discussion focused on maintaining a balance between zealously advocating for clients while at the same time adhering to standards of civility and professionalism in order to best represent the case to the Court, and to maintain the best possible working relationships with opposing counsel.
