Congratulations to Jennifer Mullett, who successfully appealed the Fairfax County Circuit Court’s determination that her client must pay spousal support to a wife who admitted to multiple adulteries during the marriage.
In reversing the trial court and remanding the case for an award of attorney fees to the husband, the Court of Appeals held: “It would be a manifest injustice to require a faultless spouse to pay support to a work-capable, millionaire spouse, guilty of repeated acts of adultery with several co-respondents.”
