Aumeneh is an experienced Barrister, having practiced family law in the United Kingdom for 14 years prior to joining the MDB Family Law team in 2019. Aumeneh obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Honors from The University of Liverpool, England in 2002. She continued her legal training at the College of Law Chester, while practicing family law as a Trainee Solicitor for two years in Cardiff. Aumeneh was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in July 2005. She then spent the next 10 years representing clients in all aspects of family law including divorce, high-net worth financial estates, child custody disputes, pre and postnuptial agreements, legal separations, child abduction, and international family law cases.
In 2015, Aumeneh decided to transfer to the Bar of England, and after completing her Barrister conversion training at the BPP University in London, she was called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2015. She continued her family law practice as a Barrister, gaining invaluable experience as a trial advocate and representing clients in court on a daily basis.
Aumeneh emigrated to the United States in 2019, and received her Master of Laws Degree in United States Law from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia. She resides in Arlington.
